Greetings!

So what is an “Off-Worlder” and why should you be one?  And for that matter why should you unite?  The concept started with my love of science fiction and that this oft used term shows up repeatedly in sci-fi stories both on and off screen.

Simply stated, “Off Worlder” means a person from another planet, dimension, and/or time-space continuum.

As a science fiction fan, to me, the term “Off-Worlder” embodies someone fascinated and engaged by the worlds they travel too, but who also brings an alien perspective to the problems faced on those worlds.   Sometimes, the problems are absurd or comical to their paradigm, as their technology or social justice has evolved beyond such trivial matters. And sometimes, the simplest concept or task to the native is completely novel and immediately useful to the Off Worlder.

I believe that we each live in our own little world.  The world of our comfort zone, our areas of expertise and skill, our hopes, dreams, and our concept of how things work around us, and our understanding of the people around us.  This is our “Sphere.”

I think that sometimes, if we adventure off-world, we can learn and grow in new and amazing ways.   This isn’t always easy. Going off world often challenges us in surprising ways, especially when it comes to what we know to be true.

My outcome for this site is to help both myself and others achieve the fruition of their ideas by creating an alliance of our worlds.   Let us create, let us innovate, let us revolutionize the way ideas become progress.
